Subject:  The Wolf, the Goat, and the Cabbage
   
Message:  Okay, here's a good one.

A wolf, a goat and a cabbage are all on one side of the river. You're job is to transport all three over to the other side of the river. But here's the catch--you can only take two of them at a time. And you can't leave the wolf and the goat alone together because the wolf will eat the goat; likewise, you can't leave the goat with the cabbage. How do you get the wolf, the goat and the cabbage all over to the other side.
